What we do

Enterprise Performance Dashboards

Enterprise Power BI dashboard estates, from a single executive view to national scale: KPI architecture, governed data, and dashboards that leadership actually uses.

The problem

Performance reporting is fragmented. Each department runs its own spreadsheets, its own definitions, and its own version of the truth. Executive meetings open with a debate about whose number is right. Somewhere in the organisation there may already be dashboards, built by IT or a vendor, technically functional and quietly ignored, because they answer questions nobody asked and miss the ones leadership actually has.

At enterprise scale the cost compounds. Multi-region operations cannot be compared because KPIs are defined differently in each region. Reporting is manual, monthly, and backward-looking. Decisions that should take a meeting take a month, and the organisation’s data, often substantial and expensively collected, produces almost none of the visibility it should.

What we build

We build dashboard estates the way reporting infrastructure should be built: from the decisions backward, not from the data forward.

The work starts with KPI architecture. We sit with the functional owners and lock the definitions: what each metric means, who owns it, at what cadence it moves, and at which level it is consumed. This is the step vendor-built dashboards skip, and it is the reason they fail adoption.

The estate is then engineered on a governed data model: source system mapping across regions and functions, data quality gates, refresh cadence designed for the organisation’s operating rhythm, and access governance. Dashboard design is tiered: executive views built for decisions, departmental views built for management, operational views built for daily work, with drill-through connecting the three so a question raised at the top can be answered without leaving the estate.

The estate is built to be run by the client’s own people. Where the engagement requires it, we design and deliver structured capability development for the client’s finance and analytics teams, built on the same models and governance the engagement installs, so the capability transfers rather than the dependency.

Who this is for

CFOs, Heads of Enterprise Performance, and executive leadership of organisations whose reporting has fragmented across departments, regions, or systems. Public-sector and sovereign entities requiring standardised performance monitoring at institutional scale. Corporates whose vendor-built dashboards were delivered and never adopted.

Where the deeper need is the FP&A operating model itself, the budgeting and forecasting discipline behind the numbers, that is our FP&A and Executive Performance Reporting offer.

Why this is different

Two reasons. The first is where the work is led from: finance, not IT. The people designing the estate have owned budgets, run forecasts, and presented to boards, and it shows in what gets built. The second is the scale the method has been proven at. Our register includes an estate of eight dashboards serving four departments of a GCC central bank, with users from the Governor’s office to operational directors, and an estate of twelve dashboards serving eight departments of a KSA national utility across multi-region operations.

Estates that hold at that scale hold anywhere.

The Dashboard Sprint

The entry product. Fixed scope, fixed fee, and deliberately capped: the cap is what makes it safe to buy from a firm you have not worked with before.

  • Two to three weeks, fixed timeline.
  • One to three Power BI dashboards built from an agreed data source (ERP export, Excel, SQL, or Google Sheets).
  • Single round of revision.
  • Knowledge-transfer session with the finance team.
  • Written documentation of the data model and DAX logic.

The Sprint is not a licence bundle, not ongoing maintenance, and not a substitute for an estate engagement. It is what it says: up to three dashboards, delivered in weeks, done properly. Clients who need more are not limited by the Sprint; the work graduates into a full estate engagement, and the Sprint’s models carry forward rather than being rebuilt.

The value of a Sprint is often what it surfaces. Dashboards make reporting gaps visible. A Sprint closes with a conversation about what else would need to be built to close the gap properly. That conversation is where the larger engagement begins, if there is one.

Scope and deliverables

Estate engagements are scoped to the mandate, not sold as a fixed configuration. The components below define the perimeter the scoping note draws from.

  • KPI architecture locked with functional owners: definitions, ownership, cadence, consumption level.
  • Governed data model: source system mapping, data quality gates, refresh cadence, access governance.
  • Tiered dashboard estate: executive, departmental, and operational views with connected drill-through.
  • Documentation of the data model, measures, and governance arrangements.
  • Capability development for client teams, designed and delivered by the engagement leadership.
  • Stabilisation support following go-live.

The delivered register

Each engagement below was delivered by the firm’s leadership. Those contracted under BGMC’s name are identified.

  • Designed and delivered eight enterprise Power BI dashboards serving four departments at national scale for a GCC central bank, with users ranging from the Governor’s office to operational directors.
  • Designed and delivered twelve enterprise dashboards across eight departments at a KSA national utility, enabling real-time operational and financial visibility across multi-region operations.
  • Designed and delivered structured Power BI capability development for the teams of a KSA national utility, on-site in-Kingdom, under BGMC’s name.
  • Designed executive sales dashboards for a multinational pharmaceutical operator in Jordan, delivered under BGMC’s name.

Fees and timelines are scoped per engagement through the scoping note.
